We left Ile des Saintes late afternoon, after some more exploring, swimming, and a nice big bbq party on board guppy. The first hours are nice and calm as we sail past the leeward side of Guadeloupe but once we are out from under the island we head a little further upwind. There is a good breeze, about 23 knots between some squalls, and the choppy waves regularly take a look at Guppy’s cockpit. Daybreak brings more settled weather. With beautiful clear skies and only the odd wave visiting. Everyone is already getting into the rhythm and enjoy the saltwater splashing over Guppy 😉
