We have some exciting news!
We are incredibly grateful and happy for a yacht that has been made available for a period of time to the Laura Dekker World Sailing Foundation. A yacht on which we are able and allowed to make our Atlantic round trip with teens.
A life changing journey that will be very challenging but also provide for a once in a life time experience, new friends, cultures and learning about who you truly are while sailing the world.
We are starting in November from Europe, sailing to the Caribbean via the Canary Islands and Cape Verde. We will be back in Europe around May depending on weather conditions.
Students are able to join for the entire voyage ( 6months) or different parts of the voyage. ( for more info look into the voyages section)
The route will largely follow the journey I made on my solo voyage. It will lead us from Europe to the Canary Islands, Cape Verde and across the Atlantic Ocean to the diverse, warm and lush green Islands of the Caribbean. After visiting many of those Islands, their people and learn about the culture’s, geography and history of these different islands it’s time to head back to Europe making another exploration stop at the Azores before braving the colder and rougher seas to get back to Europe.
If you are between 12 & 16 years old you are very welcome to sign up for this program.
Don’t delay for to long, we only have limited bunks available as this boat is a fair bit smaller then our future planned ship Guppy XL
