On thursday the wind dropped considerably, luckily so did the waves and we actually had a lovely day sailing (still the wrong way but we’re not complaining :). We celebrating this peacefullness and nice sailing with self made carrot cake and a yummy lasagna for dinner. At night the wind and waves picked up again, we knew it would but only for a little while this time. This night however we had a clear sky and a beautiful array of stars overhead. Even the moon was visible for a short while, hanging small but clearly visible in red/orange color above the horizon. According to the weather forecast we shouldn’t be getting a lot of wind anymore, at least in the next few days 🙂 which is nice on the one hand, but variable and light winds are challenging in their own way. So still no straight forward sailing. This is definitely a trip with many different aspects and weather systems 🙂
