After eating so many cakes and donuts yesterday I had to spend today resting my bellie and just recovering. It is not everyday that I have this many sweet treats under my nose but I believe I had a good reason to indulge and eat all I could…This morning we had the very last donuts for breakfast. Along with my father and friends I had a great 16th birthday here on the opposite side of the world. This was my second birthday on my world circumnavigation and if all goes well it should be the last. I was thinking of getting my driver license here but I did not have enough time for it, too bad – Within a week I would like to steer Guppy’s nose towards the Indian Ocean. She is in good shape again and I have just enough of the coming few days to gradually make the usual preparations like refilling with water, cleaning-up around Guppy, checking on all and everything once more and completing the clearance procedures. My friend Jillian is already on the plane heading back home, and there are only two days left for my father to enjoy the warm weather here with me before he too has to go. And then it will also be time for me to leave Darwin and Australia…
