We don’t have much wind but it is a beautiful sunny day with very fewwaves, which made it possible to cook a nice meal, play some guitar, and watch a movie. It looks like there will be a few more quiet daysahead. I do not really mind going slowly, as long as there’s no bigswell making the sails flap around. I am now at a latitude of 19steering a course of about 250 degrees which will bring us until weare just south of Tonga. We have left the good latitudes north of 16 degrees, andthe weather will get less stable the further south we go. Tranquilityis going even farther south than us and using the engine when theirspeed falls below 3 knots. If we stay up out of the worst southernlatitudes, it will make the trip longer, but not necessarily slower. We are actually making pretty good progress.
