Sorry again that I did not write anything for some time. Guppy and I are at a new place
since yesterday. Now I am lying at anchor still close to the south coast of Gran Canary.
Getting internet access here is a little more difficult therefore it took a bit more time for
me to blog. It is kind of challenging to be here, but I had to move the boat and this is
giving me even more appetite for going back to sea for a longer period.
Yesterday I went for a walking tour through the mountains along with some more
people. We went along the Roque Nueble, a large rock that was formed by erosion.
Walking is not really one of my favourite activity, but you can reach places where you
cannot get by car or bike.
After the tour, I sailed towards my new berth. Guppy and I had some headwind and
because of it, Guppy is completely salty again now. Washing the salt away with fresh
water is not possible around here.
I will stay put for a few days and afterwards I can stay at Mogán for a while. Then when I
leave, it will be the right time to move to the Cape Verde Islands.
MasMedia cut their ties with me. I did not want to be filmed for 24 hours a day all seven
days of the week as MasMedia would have liked to do.
I prefer to take all the pictures by myself as I always did.
