Definitely a great day again today with some clouds in the sky (so it was not too hot) and from time to time some rain fell but it wasn’t that bad though. There are people who are worried about whether I am wearing a lifeline all the time and whether I eat enough. Please do not worry at all regarding the safety all is at its best. Yes, yes, maybe I am a headstrong teenager, I know, but I am not headstrong regarding all matters. Since I was six years old, my father taught me everything about safety, and if I went sailing without a life vest or a lifeline, my boat was chained for the next day, that was really annoying. Of course it would be more difficult for him to do the same now, but it has become a habit to me to wear my lifeline all the time. In all those years I have been sailing now, I think I forgot about this just one time, and when I realised I was so shocked that I now stay clipped all the time. And if sometimes I sleep at night without being tethered, I lock the hatchway to the cabin with it, and this works very well. As for cooking meals I am doing great, I may not be the greatest chef but I manage it very well… This morning, I had fresh bread rolls out of the oven, which were really delicious. Still about 600 nautical miles [1111 kilometres, 690 land miles] to go, and I think I will cook something with rice now.
