It is wonderful under water and I find it is still as nice as during the first time when I went
snorkelling. Now I went diving along with someone from the diving school “Let’s go
diving” and it was super. I saw the live version of what I have tried to eat, the octopus
with tentacles and suckers. I also saw a group of five calamaris. That was really cool.
Hence, still under water I resolved NEVER to eat them again, actually that was the
decision I made right after trying the first bite, because I don’t find it very tasty. There
were also many kinds of fishes, much more than I saw during the snorkelling; of course,
we were much deeper this time.
Morning, Noon and in the evening I am always drinking banana milkshakes. However, I
doesn’t look like I will run out of them soon. Already I have to suffer from the presence of
those dumb fruit flies.
By the way, recently the [electrical] land power supply suddenly cut off. At first I did not
understand why at all. Everything was plugged in the right socket as it had to be, but at
my end of the extension cable I had no power?! Finally, it became clear that it was my
own fault because the way I passed the cable it ended up chafed. This caused a short
circuit because the exposed wire grounded itself. Well, a new plug is attached and I
have power again. All disadvantages also have advantages because this will certainly
never happen to me again.
Tomorrow my book about the times of my life before the start of my journey will be
published. A book that tells about yourself is quite strange. Nevertheless, this will not be
the only one, for I am sure that I want to write a book about the journey itself. I already
started working at it and so my Netherlands will improve much with time. Indeed, I am
not too good at spelling Dutch language. I guess many of you had already noticed this.
Adios,
Laura
