Today I have been admonishing Guppy all day long not to go so fast because I wanted to enter port in daylight. Since all that did not help, I took down some sails and so I sailed all through the night with only the Genoa up. Still in darkness, I rounded the southern tip, and I arrived in Bonaire with the first daylight. I am lying in a nice harbour. There are very much iguanas living in the area around the harbour, and when I stepped ashore they all rushed into the bushes away from me. They are really beautiful and big. I have already seen a few about half meter long [1 1/2 feet]. I cleared Guppy from all the remaining bird droppings and I entirely cleaned her again. She really needed it badly. I did not sleep too much last night, so I will not stay up too late today.
