Well, here I am again. I already added some photos I took during the trip. I will try to place them with the correct Blog. Uploading and selecting pictures is a little bit difficult for me now because the internet does not work perfectly all the time. So I will try to upload photos each time it becomes possible. Today I went sailing with a Hobie Cat [small sailboat also called a catamaran] along with some new friends. It was the first time for me to sail such a thing and it was an
extraordinary experience again. So there I was with two hulls under me. It was very cool to sail fast in a small boat. Today I also learned the date on which my sister Kim will be on TV. Actually, I am not the only one of my family who is a bit adventurous. My sister is twelve years old and in late November she had an appearance at a big Circus in Geneva. Actually she does not like sailing but she can hang up in the air on a trapeze?! She does this incredibly well, something I would not be able to do… It is enough for me to climb up and down on board Guppy while we are on our way. However, I find it very cool that she can do this. There were many preliminary rounds which she had to go through. But at the time I was in the Cape Verde Islands…She was in Geneve, what a pity that I could not be there to watch her. My whole family was there and I am so very proud of her, what she does is just so great. The “Magic Circus Show” will be broadcasted on Saturday, December 25th from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. Therefore, I have to find a way to watch Netherlands TV somewhere, which I guess will be difficult, but I really would like to see her on this show.
