After a good night sleep I set sail at dawn and watched Darwin slowly vanish in my wake until there was nothing but water left to see behind or ahead of me… but for a container ship!… And another… and then another one … until they too gradually dispersed at sea. Sailing is going great! I am getting used to life back at sea and the quiet aboard Guppy. I would like the winds to come blowing from a different direction but I am happy to at least have winds… It surprises me how well we are doing in those winds, sailing at 2 knots on a course that is not even close to perfect as the GPS tells me. But one of the things I have learned from my voyage is not to be in a hurry to reach my destination. All night we slowly drifted away from our course line but we are also still heading in the right direction. So l didn’t worry about it and slept very well..
