Guppy and I have been at sea for three nights already. And now the wind is gone… We had a promising start with lots of wind, even a little bit too much to my taste and not from the best direction so Guppy could not keep on her course. Still we were making progress sailing on a close tack with lots of water constantly washing over deck, until now… So the wind is gone leaving us rolling in the remaining swell but least I am already used to the bobbing of the boat… It is grey and drizzling outside and the sails are flapping which I really don’t like. I would do better doing something about this. No winds also means the windvane is useless so we are more or less going everywhere and nowhere… Oh well, the wind will surely come back… Sometime…
