Yes, I took another shower this morning and it was a freshwater shower! Early this morning two forceful squalls hit. Of course Mother Nature sent some strong winds along with them, so by the time I had finished wrestling with the sails and I was ready to catch some fresh water, the rain had stopped. The rain itself moved away, but the winds and the clouds remained with the associated waves included. I should have touched wood when I said yesterday that the cockpit was still dry.. Well, after 17 days of beautiful sailing weather, one should expect a punch in the belly. But Guppy enjoys it and she sails good and fast again. And so, the miles just fly by under her keel. I think that ‘Gup’ and I will arrive at Hiva’Oa island tomorrow in the afternoon my time. My foot is better now, so I can pound on my beloved customs formalities and paperwork once again..
