Crossing the equator was fun. We had awesome weather and good winds. It’s already the fourth time I’ve crossed the line. Of course I madepancakes again and wore my crown that I saved from last year. Brunooffered a guitar pick and Shaul had already offered the inside of hisstomach. We just sat and enjoyed the moment. Now we are at anchor inSan Cristobal. It was a hard trip except the last two days which werepretty good sailing. Last night the wind turned right on the noseagain so we went a bit offtrack for most of the night. Then the winddropped down and I started the engine to do the last few miles to SanCristobal as it slowly got light outside. Five minutes after we anchored, the immigration stuff started, since they come with dinghies towardsyour boat. Well at least that’s done now. San Cristobal looks reallynice and the anchorage is definitely way better since it’s just calmhere, without the one-meter swell like in Santa Cruz last year. So nowwe are enjoying a cold cola, looking at the many sea lions, andcleaning up the boat..
