After a day of strong winds and cloudy sky for weather, this was today undone by a lull
in wind and a hot and sweltering sun.
Today the Marlincup has started. That is a big two-day fishing challenge, organized by
Marina Rubicon. This morning at 9 AM all boats sailed out amid all the noise they could
make. At 5 PM this ritual was repeated again. It’s not allowed to take the fishes on
board, so there are only photos of the catches.
I spent the day writing a math test and chatting with people. Yesterday I had dinner with
a few Dutch people that also are sailing around the world, but they want to do this in five
years instead of two years.
