My prediction that the wind would drop to almost nothing happened. And by midnight it was completely gone. I went to get a good rest knowing that soon I would have to fight with the little bit of headwind that was slowly starting to blow. Around midday a mega squall turned the sky pitch-black in no time flat and we were hit by heavy rain and strong gusts. Happily most of it went on behind us at some distance. Then the wind whirled another 360 degrees to finally settle on blowing from the South-South-West forcing us to sail on a close tack again. After tacking and trimming the sails on to the opposite side I can reasonably say that we are about on the right course. The passing squall has left Guppy with pepper up her tushy though… Really! The pepper mill flew open all over her during the squall!… Now picking up all those little, small, tiny peppercorns is real fun..Aa..atchoo!
