It is another grayish gray rainy day in Guppyland. But there is a good wind so we are going great under sails. Last night the wind decided to be just a little too enthusiastic and came at us at 35 knots bringing in also some heavy rain. As I was battling the wind I sadly lost a bucket of fresh rainwater.. But not only the wind gets to be too excited at times and today a wave decided to join in the excitement too. I was in the galley preparing food when the top of a wave jumped on Guppy instead of going under her .. The spray breaker made of a plastic sheet on the cabin entrance is designed to hold against spray water not to stop this kind of water, and so half of the wave dropped inside to land on top of me. Naja .. I felt a little off track today, time went by without me really noticing. I read a book but also forgot to eat and to chart my postition. Oh well, missing a day won’t hurt..
