On and on we go without much change of the weather, since we are in the channel getting to the right places at the right time are very important, otherwise the current will just set you back. At Ile d’ Ouessant we weren’t so lucky but at the channel islands we had it with us at the heaviest part of tide which meant we got up to a nice 9 knots, and into Cherbourg for a very fast and efficient midnight fuel stop. We were done and out within two hours and ready to take on the last 280nm to the Netherlands. Last night on my nightwacth with Ronja we listened to ”Always look on the bright side of life” from Monthy Pithon. I think it’s an excellent theme song for our homestretch 🙂
