Two more days until I will sail on the open sea again. Guppy and I are almost completely
ready. Just a few final preparations and checking everything again. Then we can start
on this next crossing. I am really curious how it will be in the Cape Verde Islands.
Probably completely different from here. It will also be warmer over there. But I do not
find this too bad.
Last Saturday, I was at the Palmitos Park with some other people. That is sort of a zoo
in the middle of a big valley. They have monkeys, birds of prey, parrots and even
dolphins there. It was very nice to see. Yesterday, I had a nice calm day at the beach. I
am constantly thinking if there is anything left I could do to get ready. Actually, there is
already enough food, diesel fuel and water on board for the coming two month. At the
Cape Verde Islands, I will lie at anchor, and I do not assume that it will be easy for me to
go shopping there. Therefore, I have to do all these preparations, until I reach Sint
Maarten, bye for now.
