Today we finally got “normal” weather: sun, clear skies, and goodwinds. It looks like we are going to arrive in Rangiroa sometimeduring the night, so I think I will have to slow Guppy down a littlebefore we get there. Rangiroa is the biggest atoll. It’s about 40 nmlong and has two passes. I’m thinking of sailing straight to Tahiti ifwe arrive in Rangiroa really early in the evening, because I don’tlike the idea of waiting a whole night between the atolls, and we areboth looking forward to getting to Tahiti. The idea also crossed mymind to sail straight to New Zealand after Bora Bora but Brunopanicked a little when I told him, haha.
