Today I am the only Dutch boat left in the bay. But the day before yesterday, another Dutch boat with two young children came in, they plan to sail around the world within five years. I had already met them in Gran Canaria. So this was very nice. The other two Dutch boats departed the day before yesterday so we baked banana pancakes for the farewell dinner on their boat. I took my guitar with me and along with someone else who also plays guitar, we provided the music. That was really super. Today I went diving for the first time in the Caribbean. It was real fun. This morning the local diving school “Cabrits” came by and said I could join them if I would like to. Well, I didn’t need to be asked twice, of course I jumped aboard at once. We did two dives. I have seen turtles, many corals, mega-size lobsters, many fishes of all colors and a stonefish. All those bright colors under water are so beautiful! I spent the rest of the day with schoolwork and reading a book. I just have to otherwise I would have taken all those books with me for nothing… Some new yachts just came in, there is no wind today, and for a change, there is no rain and it is hot.
