I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. For the past days, I went to St. Barth [Island of Saint-Barthélemy] along with some friends for celebrating Christmas there and I really enjoyed it.
I have seen many turtles, which was really nice. We went there with three boats; two of them were sailing boats. It was very cosy. We spend very much time kneeboarding and we did cliff diving (after we were sure that there are no under water rocks, of course). It was odd to celebrate Christmas this way. Apart from the Santa hats and the Christmas decoration, it didn’t feel like a usual Christmas. Actually, I preferred it this way because I do not like the cold and the snow. In my opinion, it is very cold in the Netherlands now. However, I often find it cold here, but I am a bit of a ‘nesh’ [sensitive to cold]. Christmas is already over and New Year’s Eve is knocking at the door, therefore, I would like to wish a Happy New Year to all and everyone. I do not know what I will do to celebrate it, but I will find a way. Moreover, I want to say thank you very very much to all the people who already contributed to my voyage’s fund!
