Everything is going very well since I left Bonaire last Saturday. The first day we didn’t have much wind so that was a good start for Bruno. In the night cross waves came which in combination with the little wind made life pretty uncomfortable and I was waiting for Bruno to get seasick, but he is actually doing really well and only gets a little seasick inside. Now the wind has picked up and the waves are building up. So Guppy is moving along really well again but now every once in a while a wave rolls over Guppy. The wind, waves, and squalls were a bit of a surprise for Bruno, as he had already started saying the waves were very high at five feet. But after flying around the cabin a few times and a big wave hitting him right in the face, I think he’s getting pretty used to the better sailing weather. As for me it’s pretty weird to sail with someone else, especially someone who doesn’t know anything about sailing. But handling Guppy alone is no problem and it’s actually pretty nice to have someone around to talk to and to do the dishes ;-). So yeah, so far so good and a few days left to the San Blas Islands.
