Yesterday, I decided to sail the sea again. I feel have been long enough ashore and now I am yearning to sail again. On Thursday, I will hoist the sails and head for the Îles des Saintes, a small group of islands between Dominica and Guadeloupe where I have already been with the “Stad Amsterdam”. So I have to buy food, diesel-fuel and water even though I have not used much of my fuel, I always prefer to depart with a filled tank. And so Guppy and I will be ready to sail out. The crossing to Îles des Saintes is just a little more than 24 hours of sailing. Probably it will be a bit difficult since I will not have much time to sleep. I will sail past many islands, which means lots of attentive navigation and looking out for marine traffic.
