I had a quiet night. The Windpilot [self-steering system] steers the boat very well, and
the alarm function of the radar system allowed me to sleep for periods of an hour at a
time. The sun was shining very early this morning, but now the sky is cloudier so with
the nice breeze we are going at around 6 knots. This afternoon it rained for about ten
minutes, and then for the rest of the day I saw some rain curtains on the horizon, really
tropical weather. Apart form that there is nothing more to see, no ships, no dolphins;
however, I am really enjoying the sailing very much. There are still about 270 nautical
miles [500 kilometres;310 land miles] to go, so I am still making good progress.
