Woohoo Dutch coast in sight – and that means we are close, as the Dutch coast is so low you basically have to be on top of it to see it 😉 Today we spotted a dolphin, I have never seen a dolphin in these waters so that’s pretty cool. As far as I know there are some but it’s not common. But what makes today extra special is that it’s Alex his 1st Birthday  🥳 

What a year we’ve had together already. From sleepless nights to endless smiles. We couldn’t image life without this little bubble of smiles, cheekiness and energy. 

The teens were so awesome, they made a cake and bought a little number 1 candle at our last stop, they even had a little present. Alex was so proud as we sang for him and he got to have a little bite of the cake. They made his birthday super special, and I’m very grateful. 

So far Alex has sailed 12,000 miles, got his first teeth during our Atlantic crossing and learned to crawl and stand up at sea. So far he has been to:
