Another cloudy but warm and lovely day. Especially as we had about 14knots of wind most of the day, so Guppy made some more progress. Now we are surrounded by some darker, rainier looking clouds but that doesn’t disturb the feeling of celebration on board. The kitchen has been in full use all afternoon to make Oliebollen ( a Dutch tradition to eat around New Years, it’s like tasty fried dough balls 😉 and also some other food that we can snack on while we wait for this year to end and a new year with new adventures and opportunities to start. This year has been strange in so many ways, we have had to shift gears many times and had to work very hard to make this happen. But right now we’re feeling very happy and grateful to be here with this young group. From ALL of us on board we wish everyone a very happy new year.
