Our speed has dropped to 1-2 knots.. which is not really something to write home about. But I do, because not much else is happening out here. Last night I was kept busy by the shifting winds as I tried to make as much progress as possible. But in the end if there is no wind, well then there is just no wind.. and adjusting the sails a hundred times won’t change a thing about it. In the middle of the night a giant squall struck us which I sat out comfortably inside, I just did not feel like going outside into a wet and dark night just to enjoy a fresh downpour. It is completely windless now so I took down the mainsail and I stitched a small gap in the top of the sail. I will lie down in bed now, to catch up on the few hours of sleep I didn’t have last night..
