The days just fly by and I haven’t had time to be bored, not even for one second. There is plenty of work to do on Guppy and fixing the steering wheel is the hardest job… Because of oxidation from salt water the stainless steel bolts in the aluminum control column are stuck so I cannot remove them even though I borrowed tools to do just that. They have to come out, there is no other choice…My friend Jillian has arrived here this morning– she is the one making a film about my journey – so I let go of the steering problem. Instead we went for a walk into town, we ate gelato, we laughed a lot and I got myself an Australian SIM-card for my phone. I also took the torned sails to the sailmaker for repairs so I will still have them for spares. And… it is now for sure! My father will be over to visit me in one and a half week! We are going to celebrate my 16th birthday together and I am really looking forward to it. But for now I still have one hundred small and big jobs left to do. It will all take much of my time but well…Luckily I am staying here for a few more weeks so it all should work fine..
