After I did my presentation at the Darwin Yacht Club I had a big surprise when the Carbon Club announced that it will sponsor the repair of my old sails. I am really happy about this, it is a weight off my shoulders so now I can concentrate on all of Guppy’s other minor bruises and aches in good cheer. With my father we went to work on the Yanmar engine leaking exhaust. But before we could really start with this, it was necessary to clear up things on board… Working in a mess will only make for more mess and work, I have learned… So I emptied out the back and front of the cabin, and then I put everything back into its right place. And now I know for certain what I have onboard my squeeky clean boat…and a dinghy loaded full with four trash bags overflowing with unnecessary waste, or so are saying Jillian and my father… But I have problems with throwing things away… So it is busy around here and the days just fly by with my departure date fast approaching. Today I did some shopping and tomorrow I am going to refill the fuel tanks. I also have chosen my sailing route back to the Atlantic Ocean but I cannot tell you about it now … the pirates have internet access too.
