Today I went diving some more and did many exercises. Taking off the mask under
water and attaching it again, taking off the diving gear and attaching it back on, for
example. There was much more, of course. And so I took the first step towards my Diver
qualification! Today the sky was cloudy again and a few raindrops fell from time to time.
However, it was nice, because it is never cold here. Nevertheless, some islanders find it
very cold in the evening. Well, maybe I will say this too after being accustomed to the
warmth during my two-year journey.
Each day I am surprised at how fast the time goes by. I am never bored or idle, but in
the evening I feel like I haven’t really done much. It has been 66 days now that I have
sailed off from the Netherlands. After crossing the Atlantic Ocean in December, I will not
be staying in one place for such a long time as I have done here, so I’ll be hurrying up a
little bit then. I am really looking forward to getting across the Ocean, I think that it will be
a great experience.
