As expected the wind is still blowing straight from behind, but it decreased in strength a little. Happily it still is enough to keep us going under sails. We are down to 2600 nautical miles left to sail. Last night a strange chirping sound coming from Guppy’s stern caught my ear … Two pitch black birds were taking their ease on the solar panels. They kept on singing all night and even though they did not hit too many wrong notes, I got tired of their performance when morning came… When I stepped closer to them of course they started chirping louder and for sure they pooped on the solar panels. Naja, it was a change anyway, still I wonder what it is with the birds ruling over Guppy … I was still musing over this when I noticed the air had slowly cooled down and the clouds had become darker … a tad too dark for my taste. I cannot yet say what happened next as I am writing these lines right now but I am curious as to what will become of those. By the way, thank you very much for your many super nice coments in my guestbook.
