Winds have been pretty variable yesterday and today. One moment we’llbe doing 5 knots and then other moments just 2 knots. Over the lastfew hours, it looks like the wind has picked up to stay, and on aclose reach we’re sailing in the right direction again :p. Tranquilityis still a little behind us in the same weather, but they are stillmotoring. They say a heavy boat like that doesn’t want to move withanything less than 15 knots… We had a pretty good night sleep followedby a cold, cloudy morning. Looking at the weather report for thecoming days, it appears Guppy will have good southeast winds and Iwill slowly start to head south. We are now a little over halfway andIam more and more looking forward to steeringGuppy into mybirthplace of Whangarei.
