Everything is really nice here in Tahiti. The welcome given by theYacht Club of Arue and the Tourism Board was amazing, with a lot offlowers, locals dancing, and delicious food. They gave me a nice placein the marina, where Guppy is docked at the moment. Wet Lady arrivedone hour behind us and is in another marina not far away. We’ve comeacross some other yachts we hadn’t seen in a long time, so that wasgreat fun. We also met some local people, including one guy who isoriginally Dutch but has lived here for more than ten years and ismarried to a Tahitian woman. We went surfing with one of the localsand I’m going surfing again today. It’s so awesome. Yesterday we wentover to Marina Taina to see a French family doing their circus act,which is their way of making money to travel further with their yacht.It was really great and we all enjoyed watching it. After the circusin the marina, we went to the tennis club where the Dutch guy is ateacher and played tennis for a few hours. It’s really nice to doactive things again. So everything is good and we are enjoying thisbeautiful island.
