The wind almost subsided completely and I cannot really ask for more wind from Santa Claus, and it will be a little while until Christmas… Well, after several days of overflowing water, I have had enough salty showers for now. So I took a nice fresh water shower from my water filled Cola bottles today; it was just great! This morning I awoke to a
bang, the sheet of the mainsail had become loose and hung helpless in the water. Well, I reattached it with a new fastener because the other one had broken apart. The time lag becomes more and more noticeable. I already set the clock four hours back as compared to the Netherlands time [UTC+1]. This is it for me now… Still 850 nautical miles [1574 kilometres; 978 land miles] to go, klap tik doing !(noise of the rolling boat)
